RESTAURANT MANAGER – HAMBRGR HAMILTON


We are looking for Service Managers who thrive in a busy, fast paced environment. Hambrgr is a full service from scratch restaurant with a service focus like no other. We believe in promoting from within wherever possible and challenging ourselves to always bring the perfect experience to every guest.

We are looking for leaders who have a passion for great food, good beer and amazing atmosphere. We are currently looking for a Managers to lead one of our Hambrgr locations. The ideal Manager is an excellent communicator with strong motivational and supervisory skills. As a Service Manager, your primary focus will be to oversee the entire restaurant operation to deliver an outstanding guest experience! The Service Manager will be accountable for leading the team in a high-volume location, developing the team, and internal growth.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years’ hospitality industry experience in a leadership role

• Proven success with both people development in leadership positions

• Proven ability to achieve results through others

• Demonstrate ability to attract and retain excellent performers and to develop high performing teams

• Leadership and communication: has a leadership style that is developmental vs. policing, promotes a culture of dialogue, role model’s values and practices of the company

• Oversee the strict application of HAMBRGR’s principles and standards to improve guest experience

The successful candidate is expected to be a leader in demonstrating behaviours consistent with HAMBRGR’s culture.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/BOOKKEEPER – LOCAL RESTAURANT GROUP (HEAD OFFICE)


POSITION SUMMARY

You should be an outgoing, personable, customer-oriented individual; who thrives on problem-solving for success in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

BOOKKEEPING/ ACCOUNTING

• Maintaining a solid and accurate A/P

• Ongoing review of accounts and daily cash reports

• Organized filing system for all businesses

• Coordinate finances, assist with budget preparation.

• Complete knowledge of Quickbooks would be an asset

 

OFFICE MANAGEMENT

• Provide clerical and general office support

•  Assisting in Human Resources: including on boarding, time-sheets review, payroll

• Attending meetings – general company meetings/ management meetings

• Open/ close office as needed

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, which are reflective our upscale brand

• Bank deposits

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma, in a related field

• 3+ years experience in office administrative support and bookkeeping

• Experienced in QuickBooks

• Computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheet and Word processing programs

• High level of knowledge in office administration and bookkeeping procedures

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Effective verbal and listening communications skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Effective organizational skills

• Effective written communications skills

• Time management skills
